DESTINATION

ACI Marina Split

ACI Marina Split, in the heart of the UNESCO Old Town, offers 318 berths for yacht charters across the Adriatic Sea

Split Yacht Charters Start Here

Located at the heart of Split’s historic and UNESCO-World Heritage Town, just north of Sustipan Island, ACI Marina serves as the main launching pad for most Split Yacht Charters. It is an award winning marina with 318 berths and 30 dry berths, perfect for any kind of charters across the Adriatic Sea. It is open year‑round and provides a full suite of services for visiting yachts and charter guests.

What makes ACI Marina even more strategic is the Marjan hill, rising directly behind the marina. Often called the “lungs of Split,” Marjan acts as a natural wind barrier, protecting ACI Marina Split from strong northern winds like the Bora, making it one of the safest berthing areas in the region.

Locals sometimes call ACI Marina Split as the marina with a million‑dollar view, not just for its view of the old town but also because of its strategic location, rich history, and top-notch service. The Marina is also stones away from the longest coastal promenade in Split — the Riva — making it a scenic embarking and disembarking point.

Navigating Split Harbour

Approaching ACI Marina may be a challenge as Split harbour is a large and busy port. Ferries and commercial vessels have priority, and departing ships always have the right way, hence it is strongly advised to not interfere with their paths.

Additionally, anchoring throughout the harbour is prohibited, due to its high level of traffic, commercial shipping lanes, and reasons written above. Exceptions are only made in emergencies, ensuring both safety and smooth harbour operations.

So, when entering ACI Marina Split, it is recommended to steer closer to the head of the inner breakwater. Note that the area along the newly built western waterfront has not been fully surveyed hydrographically, making berthing there forbidden except when accessing the nearby fuel station. These precautions ensure safe navigation and protect both visiting yachts and local ferry operations.

Access via Split Airport

For guests arriving by air, Split Airport (Zračna luka Split), also known as Resnik Airport (Zračna luka Resnik), is the city’s international gateway. In 2019, the Airport was the second busiest airport in Croatia after Zagreb Airport, handling 3.3 million passengers. Located approximately 19 km (12 mi) west of Split, on the shores of Kaštela Bay in the town of Kaštela, the airport connects the city with numerous European destinations. It is especially more active during the European summer holiday season. We offer private transfer from the airport to Marina, for your convenience. Contact us to know more.
